Direct2Drive weekend sales slash Two Worlds II, Rift and Acti triad

Start your time off right by giving less money for games than you would otherwise, thanks to Direct2Drive’s weekend sales.

You’ve probably just missed out on Thursday’s sale, but Friday sees Rift discounted from $49.95 to $29.95, while Saturday cuts Two Worlds 2 down to $24.95 from $49.95.

The service is offering three Acti titles at half off throughout the weekend, kicking off at 10:00 AM PDT Friday, and running through till the same time Monday.

Anyone thinking about Blur don’t bother. The SP wears thin after a while and the online is abandoned, which is the bulk of the game.

That’s a real shame. The multiplayer was superb fun. At that price it surely has to be worth a punt?
