Ubisoft drops some PC titles by 50%

Ubisoft has cut prices in its PC digital download store, with several of its titles now reduced by 50 percent.
Reduced games include an Assassin’s Creed-Assassin’s Creed 2 bundle which is now $39.99, a Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter bundle for $14.99, and H.A.W.X. for $9.99.
Other titles on sale include an E3 Ubisoft Pack comprising of H.A.W.X., both Ghost Recon titles, Driver: Parallel Lines, Assassin’s Creed and Shawn White Skateboarding for $49.99.

I’d be more than happy to pay full price if they did a version without the DRM. So far I’ve not bought Assassin’s Creed 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands because of the DRM.

exactly what Bulk said. those will have to be pirated if/when I feel like playing them.
now on another note, the Steam prices haven’t changed. HAWX is still 20euros.

Considering that Ubisoft have been steaming towards bankruptcy for more than a year, and that their DRM has failed to make even the slightest difference, I’d say something has to give.
Either they fire whoever is running that ridiculous company and get smart, or they won’t be here in a year.

Ubisoft…Fuck you and the DRM you rode in on, I’m spending my money at the steam sale.
