El Shaddai’s taking its drop-dead gorgeous show on the road. Or at least, roads paved with Google’s ever-popular mobile OS. Famitsu (via Andriasang) revealed the bite-sized adaptation to be a 2D platformer, which is pretty much par for the course with these things. Leap-based shenanigans are, of course, great and all, but the real question is whether or not the game’s unique sense of style made the jump intact. So far, we’ve only got one screen to go on, but, uh, let’s just say they could have picked a better screen.

American retailer GameStop has confirmed rumours that stores will now accept iOS devices as trade-ins for cash or in-store credit. In addition, it’s announced plans to sell its own tablets that will come “preloaded with exclusive content”.

360-PS3-PC. It’s the simultaneous game release Holy Trinity, and without it, all our goat sacrifices would be in vain. Also, business models. PopCap worldwide game development head Ed Allard, however, isn’t quite so gung-ho about the industry standard. After all, what’s the point of developing for multiple platforms if your game only fits one of them?

Zombie is free today only. After that, it will run you $2.99. The Andorid version of the game will be an Amazon exclusive for two weeks before being released through other distributors.
