The Pokémon Bank, which was announced for a December 27 launch back in October, has a new video available showing you all sorts of Poké stuff. When you download the Pokémon Bank, it allows for the deposit, withdrawl and managing of up to 3,000 Pokémon in private boxes. Like a bank. You can transfer from multiple physical and digital copies of Pokémon X & Y, as well as Black & White, Black & White 2, using the Poké Transporter, a linked application received when you download Pokémon Bank. Remeber, download before January 31 and you will get a free 30-day trial. After that it will run you $4.99/£4.49/€4.99 per year.

Pokemon X & Y has received a mandatory 1.2 update that is necessary for online play. Sources suggest that the patch nukes an exploit that let players view their opponent’s team before starting a match.

SuperData Research has issued a digital market report showing 25% growth in the sector year-over-year to over $1 billion. The figures do not represent physical data in the US, which will be reported by NPD later this evening – and will be worth staying up for as the November report will note the first sales figures for PS4 and Xbox One.

Bayonetta 2 developer Platinum Games is bringing its hack-and-slash sequel to Wii U via Nintendo, yet gamers are still asking the studio for a PS3 and Xbox 360 edition. Creative Producer JP Kellams has said on Twitter that he’s tired of “pedantic port-begging.”

Teslagrad lands on Steam for Linux, Mac and PC, Rain Games December 13 and upon that day, you can purchase the game through Teslagrad.com, GOG and Desura. To herald next week’s release, the launch trailer is posted below, introducing the viewer to the Tesla Tower where it’s revealed to the main character of the game that he is the last of his kind, a Teslamancer. Teslagrad will run you $9.99 in North America and €8.99/£6.99 in Europe. Console versions are on the way, with Wii U and PlayStation 3 versions available in 2014.
