Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two only sold 270k copies in the US
Disney’s Epic Mickey 2: The Power Two only sold 270,000 units in the US by the end of 2012, according to a new report from The LA Times. Across a similar length of time in 2010, the original game shifted 1.3 million copies.

Disney’s Lucasarts acquisition: ‘I wish I owned Monkey Island’, says Gilbert
Disney’s acquisition of Lucasarts means that the house of mouse now owns the rights to Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion. However, co-creator Ron Gilbert is unhappy with the situation, and feels that he should own the rights to both.

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two collector’s edition revealed
Disney has announced details of an Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two Collector’s Edition. The deal is exclusive to UK retailer GAME. Players can pick this up for £59.99 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, while Wii users can nab it for £49.99.

Sony signs all six major movie studios for PSN HD films

Disney: Epic Mickey could eventually end up on Xbox 360 or PS3
When we think of the future, we see jetpacks, embarassingly tight-fitting spandex unitards, and that awesome hoverboard scene from Back to the Future.
But when we’re not stuck in jetpack traffic or modeling clothes that spit in the face of silly modern conceptions like “shame” and “dignity,” our futures will apparently be occupied with Epic Mickey on platforms that aren’t the Wii.
