World of Warcraft’s Pilgrim’s Bounty event is back. Full of virtual food and rewards, the festival contains tables filled with Thanksgiving fare outside the major cities where players can sit and gobble down the vittles. Daily cooking quests will be doled out, trainers, vendors, and more will be around and you will earn cosmetic rewards and the Plump Turkey pet for completing quests and participating in the festivities. Borderlands 2: The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler, the second Headhunter add-on for the game, is available on Steam for Mac and PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 today. It will run you $2.99 or your country’s equivalent. In The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler, players will meet up with Mr. Torgue’s “super buff grandmother” while he hosts a hunger-themed competition to hunt down a giant turkey, the Wattle Gobbler, and selects sacrificial recruits from all of the districts of Pandora to participate. Minecraft players can now use Twitch to stream their gaming sessions, as promised. Before you can start streaming, you will need to visit your Mojang account settings and link a Twitch account to your Mojang account. Some features still need to be added, and so far, it’s supported on Windows XP and higher and Mac OS X Lion 10.7 and higher. The Elder Scrolls Online isn’t our first visit to Tamriel, but the new map Zenimax Online has put together for the upcoming MMO gives us a new way to explore. At present, the map only shows a handful of regions belonging to the three factions, so you can’t go poking about in the Imperial City, but you can explore stretches of Skyrim, Morrowind and Hammerfell, among others, finding bits of lore, artwork and screenshots. Omnigon Games has put its sandbox creation game UemeU on Steam Greenlight. Pronounced You-Me-You, the PC and Mac title builds upon such titles as Minecraft, Gary’s Mod, Little Big Planet and The Sims where players can create easily manipulated game worlds using interactive environments and a library of tools so they can play, create, and share worlds with their friends and the UemeU community. UemeU is in public Alpha and as it approaches Beta, the team has put the game on Greenlight to help further the development process.
