To coincide with e availability of Batgirl for Injustice: Gods Among Us, Warner has released a history trailer for the lovely lady. Hit up the break for a watch. The character will be made available as DLC later on the PS Store in the US once it updates, is out today on Xbox Live as well, and will hit PSN in Europe tomorrow.

Netherrealm Studios boss Ed Boon has posted a survey, asking fans which character they’d like to see as hypothetical DLC in Injustice: Gods Among Us. The choices are: Blue Beetle, Doctor Fate, Powergirl, Red Hood (Robin), Static Shock, Swamp Thing, or Zatanna. Vote for yourself through here – just keep in mind this is, again, hypothetical. Still, I think Swamp Thing would be rather awesome. Injustce: Gods Among Us is now available on PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will get a new character on May 7 in the form of Lobo. A video of the man beating up Batman and giving him the finger is below. Lobo was leaked as a DLC character last week. Injustice: Gods Among Us released last week on PS3 and 360. The Wii U edition launched yesterday.

The soundtrack to Injustice: Gods Among Us will launch alongside the PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 fighter this week. The album will go for $10 via digital retailers, and will turn up on CD in the US on April 23, for $12. You can peruse the track list; check out one featured track, THISKIDSNOTALRIGHT by AWOLNATION; and listen to the game’s main theme through the break. NetherRealm’s latyest arrives on April 16 in the US; April 17 in Australia; and April 19 in Europe.

Injustice: Gods Among Us releases next week in the US on April 16 for PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360. That’s Tuesday, you know. Also known as the day after Tax Day in the US, so if you haven’t jumped off a bridge or anything or if you didn’t have to sell your kidney in a dark alley to pay off the government, go pick it up. The 2011 version of Mortal Kombat has turned up on the Steam registry, as spotted by DSO Gaming, with all achievements from the console versions intact. Although it’s pretty reliable, the Steam registry is spotted with placeholders and experiments which fail to pan out – like Halo 3 – so don’t get too excited. We’ve asked Warner Bros. what’s up; a PC release seems like a pretty solid idea.
