PlayStation Store gets major discounts on NFS Hot Pursuit, Dead Space 2, Crysis, more
Sony’s kicked off a January sale for the PlayStation Store, with some big discounts in play for the first week. Dead Space 2, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Dante’s Inferno are all down to £20, with Burnout Paradise set at £15. All the games include all their respective DLC. Also included in the deal is Crysis for £9.99, Burnout Crash for £5.99 and NBA Jam: On Fire Edition for £7.99. There’s more offers, including DLC bundles and packs for Shift 2, Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age II on the EU PS Blog.

Users who downloaded BF3 on PSN having issues signing into Battlelog
EA has confirmed there are some “issues” with the downloadable version of Battlefield 3 on PS3, which is preventing players from signing into the game’s Battlelog service. Currently a patch is in the works, with a release date to be announced, according to Sony Europe’s community manager.
EA has said its worldwide customer service department is available any time of day to “provide an immediate solution to any Battlefield 3 players on PSN” who experience any difficulties logging into Battlelog.
The digital version of the game released on PSN in the region October 26.

THQ to publish Make Something Unreal winner The Haunted: Hell’s Reach
The Haunted: Hell’s Reach, the winner of 2010′s Make Something Unreal contest, will be published by THQ. The Haunted is a third-person action survival horror title which focuses on multiplayer, as you try to liberate “cursed places and survive the assault from the minions of hell.” It has several multiplayer modes such as coop-survival, demons vs. humans and demonizer. There are four playable characters, over 20 enemies, 30 stages, eight different locales, six secret weapons, and four game modes. Bloodrayne: Betrayal delayed into October on XBL
Bloodrayne: Betrayal has been delayed into October, according to the game’s developer. Scheduled for release this month with a delay of a week’s time already, the game will now land on October 5 on XBL. No reason for the delay was provided to D’toid, and since the delay is on XBL only, this will not affect the game’s PLAY incentive announced just yesterday. Earlier reports stated the game was also delayed on PSN, but we sent a mail and asked, and were told it was not the case. [pic]
