The Witcher 3 Grandmaster Wolf Gear locations

Here's where to track down all the Grandmaster Wolf diagrams for weapons and armor in The Witcher 3.

This guide will show players how to find the Grandmaster Wolf Gear diagrams in The Witcher 3. These diagrams allow players to craft the highest quality Wolf School armor and swords available, provided you have the materials - and previous armor sets - to do so.

The Grandmaster Wolf Gear is a medium armor set in The Witcher 3, and it's well worth getting your hands on, as it provides Geralt with plenty of resistances that can come in clutch during a battle. Without further ado, here's exactly where to get all the Grandmaster Wolf Gear in The Witcher 3.

The Witcher 3 Grandmaster Wolf Gear locations

The Grandmaster Wolven Gear set consists of medium weight gear that increases Armor protections. Players must be level 40 or higher to equip Grandmaster quality gear. This gear set also offers the benefit of enhanced Sign intensity, Adrenaline Point gain, and Attack Power. Additional bonuses are applied when three or six pieces of Grandmaster Wolven Gear are worn simultaneously. These stat bonuses are as follows:

  • 3/6 Equipped Pieces - Allows for up to three Oils to be applied to a sword at once.
  • 6/6 Equipped Pieces - Bombs can be thrown without delay.

In addition, you'll need to have collected all of the prior Wolf School Gear diagrams - basic, enhanced, superior, and mastercrafted - to be able to craft the Grandmaster version of the armor.

On top of that, considering that this gear set is Grandmaster quality, you'll also need a Grandmaster craftsmen to put them all together for you. You can find one of those in Beauclair, Touissant's main city, but you'll need to help him out with a side quest first. Once that's done, you can then acquire about Grandmaster Witcher sets.

The Witcher 3 Grandmaster Wolf Armor Trousers, and Boots

Start by heading to Termes Palace Ruins, just east of Gelenser Farm. Look for a small campsite with burned tents. Loot the bag under the bench to obtain Isabelle Duchamp’s journal. After reading the journal, explore the rest of the elven ruins until you find a door blocked by a purple force field. Just before the purple door, look along the ground for a corpse holding a Purple Ruby. Use the Purple Ruby on the switch beside the door to lower the force field.

Upon entering the chamber, you’ll be ambushed by several Wraiths and Barghests. Kill the Wraiths quickly to prevent more Barghests from being spawned. Continue through the corridor, and use Aard on the next two cracked walls you encounter. Watch out for the Giant Centipede in the cave ahead.

As you enter the second cracked wall, you’ll fall into a chamber that contains more Wraiths and Barghests. Defeat the enemies, then enter the room on the left. A few steps ahead of the tomb is a satchel on the ground. Loot the satchel to obtain the diagrams for the Grandmaster Wolven armor, trousers, and boots.

The Witcher 3 Grandmaster Wolf Gear Gauntlets, Silver Sword, and Steel Sword

The last three diagrams are found in nearly the same location as the previous three. After dropping down into the chamber and defeating the Wraiths and Barghests, go through the door on the right instead of left to reach a dead end.

If you already grabbed the first three diagrams, then simply retrace your steps back through the chamber and into the room at the dead end. On the floor is a corpse sticking out from the rock pile. Loot the corpse to obtain the diagrams for the Grandmaster Wolven gauntlets, silver sword, and steel sword.
