Fortnite: a giant robot called Doggus is being constructed in Pressure Plant
The Cattus monster has a new foe in Fortnite, as dataminers have uncovered a giant robot called Doggus.
Inside the Pressure Plant vault, a giant robot is currently under construction. A side-by-side comparison of the Doggus and Cattus feet from dataminer FortTory shows how massive it will be, though it doesn't quite have the foot span of the Cattus.
The Week 10 challenges have been leaked and one of them involves collecting metal from a robot factory, so it's likely that we'll see more of the Cattus and Doggus in the coming weeks.
The castle at Polar Peak has already been destroyed and the Cattus was spotted swimming around with a piece of it on its back. The iceberg in the same location is due to collapse soon, and a new area is likely to appear once the fight is over.
You can also see its giant eye in the ice at Polar Peak, which follows you around, though you can't chip at the ice around it yet.
Donald Mustard, the creative director at Epic Games, has changed his location to Pressure Plant, which signals that something big is about to go down.
Season 10 is due to begin on August 1, 2019, meaning that there will be a two-week wait at the end of Season 9. It might be that this battle kickstarts Season 10 or will bring with it some new overtime challenges between Week 10 and the new season.
