Sir, You Are Being Hunted video shows off a mountain biome
Sir, You Are Being Hunted has a new video available, and it shows off one of the game’s biomes. Big Robot’s Jim Rossignol walks you through the mountain region. It looks rather lovely and if you are heading to Rezzed in June, you will be able to see it first hand. The playable alpha for Kickstarter backers is getting close as well, according to RPS.

Arma 3 Alpha updated to version 0.58
Bohemia Interactive has released a new update for the Arma 3 Alpha, and in version 0.58, new dedicated combat and stealth radio protocols have been added along with tweaks to lighting and audio. Also, multiplayer dedicated server administrators now have access to a “separated executable” to host such servers more conveniently. Have a look at the entire changelog here, and to automatically update to the new version, just log into Steam.

Star Trek Online’s Legacy of Romulus expansion is live
Cryptic Studios has announced the Legacy of Romulus expansion for Star Trek Online has gone live. STO players can choose to play as a Romulan or Reman through new story-driven mission arcs, and Denise Crosby returns to reprise her role as Empress Sela. New Romulan ships and enemies have been added and the Klingon faction has also been updated with full level 1-50 progression. Poker Night 2 now available for iOS
Poker Night 2, along with Brock Fucking Samson, is now available for iOS. Telltale’s poker simulator will run you $4.99 on the App Store, and also includes Sam and Max, Claptrap, GLaDOS, and my personal hero, Ash Williams. Head over to the App Store and pick it up. EA’s FIFA series has become part of the “fabric of football,” says producer
Nick Channon, FIFA 14 producer, has told VG247′s Sam Clay that it’s rather nice for the series to have become part of the “fabric of football.” He also said EA is proud of the fact it can connect the game’s users to the real sport. Listen to your man speak about it himself below. FIFA 14 is out September 24 in the US and September 27 in the UK on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and will be released on PS4 and Xbox One as well. Nvidia releases GTX 780 for £549 and GeForce Experience software
Nvidia has released its GTX 780 graphics card, and while it will run you £549, the thing clocks in at 863 Mhz and can be boosted to 900 Mhz. It also contains 3GB of DDR5 with a memory speed of 6Gbps. MCV says it also has “TDP of 250W and outputs via 2xDL-DVI slots, 1xHDMI and 1xDisplayport.” Whatever all that means. Just tell me if it makes things shiny and I’ll be pleased. Furthermore, the firm also launched its GeForce Experience software which will collects 20 minutes of game footage as you play, as well as analyzes your system to automatically choose the optimum settings configuration for whatever game you’re playing. Nifty.

Skyward Collapse now available for Mac and PC
Skyward Collapse, the turn-based 4X god-sim from Arcen Games, is out today on Mac and PC, and the developer sent over some screenshots and a new trailer for it. The game can be picked up through the official website, Steam, and other distributors. Brenna has been playing the preview build, and as soon as she returns from her much needed vacation, she’ll have some detailed impressions. Earlier today she told me it’s “sort of like playing chess against yourself, only you’re always a total bastard”. Awesome.
