With the recent success of Ubisoft’s throwback to the 80′s with the Far Cry 3 DLC Blood Dragon, it looks like they may have decided to do another throwback, this time to the original Far Cry.

A Far Cry HD listing for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has surfaced on the Brazil’s rating board site. No announcement had been made by Ubisoft, but with the success the franchise is having, it could be on the cards.

While DUST 514, the console based MMO/FPS set in the Eve Online universe, is continuing to receive changes from CCP to its skill system based on feedback from players, some players are not happy with the effects the changes are having on their chosen skills. To help things run more smoothly CCP is offering players a chance to request one free respec.

Players are able to request a respec by emailing the CCP support teamwith any key information. This option is available from now through to May 31st, thanks to Ten Ton Hammer.

As part of the celebrations for Funcom’s Age of Conan 5 year anniversary, brutal boss monsters will be roaming and rampaging through the world of Hyboria for five days in a row.

Update 18 for Dungeons and Dragons Online releases today in preparation for the Shadowfell Conspiracy expansion pack. The update serves as a prequel to the expansion pack set to release on 5 June and adds two new quests, available to all players, known as the Disciples of Shadow.

Microsoft has registered domain names for the new Kinect hardware, which will come bundled with the console, called Kinect One as well as what is likely to be a new Kinect-based fitness game for the new console, called Xbox Fitness.

Microsoft has announced 15 exclusive games coming to the Xbox One in its first year but PC gamers aren’t likely to see all of that content. When asked about Microsoft’s Window’s 8 gaming strategy, Matt Booty, general manager of Redmond Game Studios and Platforms, said, “We have got everything from very, very casual games, like our very much improved and reimagined Solitaire, all the way to graphically complicated games like The Harvest.”

Konami has announced that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Ultimate Edition is available now on PSN. The bundle features the full game and all downloadable content which includes Cyborg Ninja Armor Skin, MGS4 Raiden Skin, Commando Armor Skin, White Armor Skin, Inferno Armor Skin, VR Missions and side stories, “Jetstream” and “Blade Wolf”. The edition will run you $74.99.

A report from the Associated Press indicates that the deal between the NFL and Microsoft for Xbox One is worth $400 million over five years for the NFL.

Ghostlight has announced it will be publishing Elminage Original, Starfish-SD’s first-person PSP dungeon crawler, in Europe and it will come with all the improvements made with the patch released in the US. The PSP game may even get a collector’s edition, and if it does, it will be made available in limited quantities and not in a “standard” edition. Elminage Original will be made available this summer. As promised earlier this month, Rockstar has announced that The Warriors will arrive on PSN next week for PS3. The title will be available as part of the PS3 Classics collection, and arrives on the US end of the store May 28 for $9.99 and on the European end May 29.
