Xbox One’s onus on entertainment is completely the wrong direction, according to Ninja Theory co-founder Tameem Antoniades. He reckons Microsot, Sony and Nintendo could learn a lot from mobile, and that Steam Machines are getting it right.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West – Premium Edition has unlocked on Steam. It’s the first time the Ninja Theory game has been released on PC. Originally released in 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and disappointingly under-appreciated, Enslaved has recently been given a second chance and is available on the North American PlayStation Store as well.

Ninja Theory are still hiring and are currently looking for an engine programmer. The firm states it has “exciting new console projects coming up” so it’s looking for folks with relevant console or PC industry experience. Last we heard, the studio was working on new triple-A console title with shooting, melee and stealth mechanics running on Unreal Engine 4, and back in July, screencaps taken from a video giving a overview of the studio appeared, showing one of its latest project in the works. We reached out to Ninja Theory on the matter at the time, and were told it was something it couldn’t “comment on”. Hit up the link for more information on the position. Thanks, AGB.

Fightback developer Ninja Theory has released a teaser trailer for its mobile beat-em-up. The clip has a cheesy ’80s action flick vibe, along with some juggle-tastic combat footage. There’s also some gunplay in there too. Check it out here.

DmC: Devil May Cry is full of humour and satire, but many people didn’t get the joke. Regardless, Ninja Theory’s twisted take on a world full of subliminal messages, right-wing media and drugged soft drinks isn’t too be taken too seriously, even if it was created to loosely mirror some of the failings of modern life as we know it.
