SWTOR’s Gree in-game event returns next week
The ancient Gree starship, Gray Secant, is returning to Ilum May 21-28, and will provide SWTOR players with some nifty rewards such as unique armor, pets, weapons, and the like. Players will earn Reputation points has they “fight the Gree’s grand mission,” and players level 45 and over can jump into the event before it returns at level 55 in the future. SWTOR update 2.1 is live, video shows dyes and other customization options
Bioware has released a SWTOR video giving you a better look at the new customization options which launched today with update 2.1. You were given a slight glimpse last week, now set your eyes on the video below which shows off the Appearance Designer in action. And don’t forget about the new playable Cathar species either.

Mass Effect: BioWare keen on spin-off games, Garrus, Javik and others in the frame
Mass Effect developer Casey Hudson has shed light on the potential for spin-offs independent off Shepard’s adventures. As big fans of Garrus, the team has suggested in a new interview that they’d be in favour of giving the sniper his own game, as well as Javik and other supporting cast members.

SWTOR dye modules coming with next week’s update previewed
SWTOR is getting dye modules with game update 2.1, and to show these off a bit, BioWare has released a new video. It’s less than a minute long, but it gives you the idea well enough. Bioware hires former Big Huge Games devs to work on new Mass Effect
The next Mass Effect game has had new members added to its development team, according to a Superannuation report on Kotaku. The members are ex- Big Huge Games and Impossible Studios staffers, who have now moved on to BioWare Montreal. The report also notes that Colin Campbell is now head of the new Mass Effect’s level design team and Ian Frazier is now its lead gameplay designer. Head through the link for more information.

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer survey asks for map feedback
Although it has officially moved on from full-time Mass Effect 3 support, BioWare is still keeping an eye on the RPG’s multiplayer. The developer is asking fans to take the time to answer a survey about the maps, rating them difficulty, atmosphere and more. This feedback could help inform future Mass Effect multiplayer outings, should any be produced, so you potentially have a chance to help shape the franchise’s future.

SWTOR game update 2.0 video is rife with Scum and Villainy
SWTOR game update 2.0 went live today, and Bioware has released a new video rife with the Legions of Scum and Villainy. The later is a level 55 operation, and contains various, vicious enemies you’ll face on the planet Darvannis. The video also give you a look at the new Legacy Achievements system. The game update went live yesterday alongside early access to Rise of the Hutt Cartel, along with guild rewards such as a stackable 5% boost to experience. Hit up the video below.

BioWare debates “accepted” industry view that female stars don’t sell
Dragon Age 3: Inquisition lead writer David Gaider has said at GDC that the industry will not fully embrace the notion of female stars unless there is clear financial motivation to do so. The old belief is that female character don’t sell, and this is a view Gaider would very much like to see challenged.
