Black Ops 2 has a title update in the works which will include the reestablishment of Theatre Mode. Treyarch removed the feature after it was found it caused a Prestige glitch. Emblems was also deactivated, but the firm hasn’t said whether the it will return with the next title update or not. The update will also raise the score requirement for calling upon the lowest Scorestreak, UAVs, and the teams feels the current requirement for SMG penetration “is probably too high”. So, that will be looked into as well. The firm also released a troubleshooting guide for consoles which should help players experiencing lag during multiplayer. Thanks, CVG.

Quantic Gaming, the North American esSports team, has disbanded after investors pulled funding, according to team member Rod Breslau. It was said neither “players nor staff knew about it beforehand.” The eSpots team had at least a dozen players or more assigned to its StarCraft 2, Call of Duty, and League of Legends teams. Breslau said some the affected players were already talking with other North America teams. Quantic Gaming formed in 2010 and won five Major League Gaming events. Via Gamespot.

A new Black Ops 2 video has been released, featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the live-action “Surprise” trailer directed by Guy Ritchie. Black Ops 2 players which are unable to redeem their PS3 codes for Nuketown 2025, Activision has provided a customer support link you can visit. Once there, fill out the online form to receive a replacement code which will allows you to immediately download the Nuketown 2025 map. This way, you won’t miss out on this weekend’s Double XP event. Yesterday, a number of Black Ops 2 players converges on the PS forums, stating their standard, Hardened and Care Package editions of the game were failing to download the codes. Hopefully, the link above will remedy the matter for all.

Black Ops 2 sold over 1 million copies during its midnight launch at GameStop alone, the retailer’s president Tony Bartel told Bloomberg via email. Analyst Michael Olson, according to Gamespot, has estimated the game sold between 6.5 million and 7.2 million units day-one sales, which would rival Modern Warfare 3′s day-one 6.5 million units last year. The Infinity Ward developed title generated $775 million in revenue its first five days on the market, eventually hitting $1 billion in 16 days of availability.

Black Ops 2 PS3 users have reported connectivity issues, and Activision has said it’s working on a fix.
