Three Last.fm hours per month for Silver Live members (maybe)

Live GM Christina DeRosa has told Joystiq that the service’s Silver members may be granted limited access to Last.fm for free.
“Silver users will be able access what we’re considering a trial period of three hours a month, which comes with video advertising,” she said.
“Gold users will have unlimited ad-supported access, so they can use it 24 hours a day. There will also be a premium offering on a subscription basis from Last.fm, that will be commercial free and will also have more sophisticated personalization features, like Loved Tracks.”
Last.fm launches on 360 this autumn. Thanks, Destructoid.

Nintendo: White and silver DS Lites discontinued “because retail are not ordering them anymore”

Remember how white and silver DS Lites are now being discontinued in the UK? It’s obviously because DSi’s launching in April, right? Of course it isn’t. It’s because retailers don’t want them any more.
“Correct,” said Nintendo when we asked the firm if the colours were being pulled.
“Because retail are not ordering them anymore. We don’t stop selling things that sell.”
Conversely, we were told by a UK retail source earlier this week, “The white SKU is one of their most popular colours and we were at a loss as to why they’d finish it, until you remember that the DSi is appearing in white very soon.”
We say nothing.
