House of the Dead: Overkill heading for an iOS release
The Lost Reels is a remixed port of the original 2009 House of the Dead shooter and is set for release on iOS tonight. Broken into three “movies” or parts, the initial download offers the first movie, Papa’s Palace of Pain, and on playthrough will unlock the second movie, Ballistic Trauma. Naked Terror, the third part, must be purchased though. Each movie is made up of four levels and a boss battle.

Aliens: Colonial Marines set for Wii U launch before the end of March
While it was recently revealed that Aliens: Colonial Marines has gone gold on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, the lack of Wii U mention seemed to condemn Nintendo’s version to a non-release.

Sony, Sega, Sheridans, Standfast announce Games Invest 2012 presence
Games Invest 2012 organizers have announced Sony XDev, Sega, Sheridans and Standfast Interactive will have a presence at the event which takes place takes place September 27 and September 28 as part of the GamesIndustry Fair. Games Invest 2012 is an opportunity for “small to medium-sized games and tech companies to network, pitch and learn from the public and private investment community.” Tickets to the event can be purchased through here, and along with your voucher, you’ll have access to various panels, lunch, and access to the Eurogamer Expo and GI Fair and a networking party that evening.
