Total War: Shogun 2 – Fall of the Samurai has new boats, guns
Sega’s announced a standalone expansion pack, titled Fall of the Samurai, for Total War: Shogun 2. It’s to include six new playable clans who will need to “deal with” the foreign powers of America, Britain and France, as well as fighting against domestic factions.

Sonic Generations launch trailer is go
SEGA’s released the launch trailer for Sonic Generations, showing glimpses of the game’s levels. It also shows off various bosses. The game’s out tomorrow in US, and on November 4 in the UK for PS3, PC, 3DS, and Xbox 360. Watch the trailer below.

Second Sonic Generations demo hitting PSN and XBL on Oct 19
Sega’s announced that a second Sonic Generations demo will be releasing on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on October 19.The demo will enable players to try out some Modern Sonic gameplay, with access to the Green Hill level. The earlier demo contained some of the game’s Classic Sonic stages.
The game releases on November 4 for PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC and 3DS release will follow later in the month.

Yakuza producer: “Kiriyu might become a kindergarten teacher in the next game”

Ok, we’re pretty sure he’s joking about that bit. But whether or not the series trades its hordes of puking zombies for arguably more horrifying hordes of drooling children, Yakuza producer Masayoshi Kikuchi made one point explicitly clear:
