Zen Studios will give away its new Pinball FX2 table Sorcerer’s Lair to all Steam users from June 21. Destructoid reports the table will be free indefinitely rather than as a timed promotion. If the new table puts you back in the Wizard mindset, a couple of new premium tables will arrive on the same day – Marvel Civil War, Fantastic Four and Paranormal will be $3 each.

Fire up Steam to take advantage of a free-to-play weekend for the turn based strategy to rule them all, Civilization 5. The Firaxis Games epic will be free until 1:00PM PDT on June 9, in celebration of the upcoming release of expansion pack Brave New World. 2K is also offering 75% off the entire Civilization franchise until 10:00AM PDT June 10, on Steam and beyond. If you pick Civ 5 up on sale, you can carry over your saves from the free-to-play weekend, too. Brave New World is available for pre-order, by-the-by, at 10% off.

Ironclad Games has released the first DLC pack for stand-alone expansion Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. As previously detailed, Forbidden Worlds goes for $5 and adds new planet types, planet specialization, technologies, planetary bonuses and even more Steam achievements. The Sims 3 has gained a new piece of DLC called Dragon Valley, available via the in-game store. The $25 pack adds a new storyline about rival families and includes baby dragons as well as a slew of medieval-themed costumes and the like. Hmm. If you’re keen to recreate Game of Thrones – even after last night’s episode – then perhaps you’ll enjoy the trailer through the break.

According to the Japanese version of MiiVerse, as noted by NeoGAF, New Super Mario Bros U will be updated when the New Super Luigi U DLC releases. The update will enable Pro Controller support and also allow you to pick up the new content directly from the game’s menus rather than having to exit out to the eShop. There’s no word on whether the patch is headed west yet.

Front the cash for Madden NFL 25 at GameStop before release date and you’ll receive three classic 49ers players for Connected Franchise and Ultimate Team mode – former owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr, former coach Bill Walsh and four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Joe Montana, according to Joystiq. Madden 25 celebrates the franchise’s anniversary, and hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late August. A special Anniversary Edition is available.

For one month following the August 6 launch of Dragon’s Crown in North America, a DLC pack of replacement voices will be free. The pack includes six voices – Amazon, Dwarf, Elf, Fighter, Sorceress and Wizard – which can be used in place of the generic narrator, making the game a little more personal. It will cost $2 once the grace period expires. The Vanillaware beat-’em-up is headed to PlayStation 3 and Vita.

Crusader Kings 2 gets its first major expansion today in the form of The Old Gods, which gives players the chance to explore cultures falling outside the core game’s religious flavours. It’s available through various digital distributors for $15, and in anticipation of its arrival Paradox has issued a huge title update for Crusader Kings 2, applying loads of fixes as well as prepping for the new content. The PlayStation Store has these “Ultimate Edition” bundles that give you a base game and all its DLC for a discounted price. This week, they’re putting out ten new Ultimate Editions, and they’re making them even cheaper than they normally would. Plus subscribers get a better discount, as usual. Full list inside.
