We might now know what Cyberpunk 2077 free DLCs are going to be called [UPDATE]

CD Projekt RED has said the names of the DLC which apparently leaked from the Epic Games Store are not the actual names of the upcoming DLC.

In a statement to IGN, the company said the names of the DLC “are not DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077.”

As IGN notes, it's possible these names are just not finalized yet, could be code names or even placeholders the company added before choosing the actual titles.

Some details about the upcoming free DLC packs for Cyberpunk 2077 have emerged.

Thanks to the Epic Games Store, it looks like we have the names of nine pieces of content.

Reddit user PricklyAssassin has seemingly found out some new information about the post-launch content via the Epic Games Store, specifically the names of nine releases. These are Rippderdocs Expansion, Body Shops Expansion, Fashion Forward Expansion, Gangs of Night City, Body of Chrome, Rides of the Dark Future, The Relic, Neck Deep, and Night City Expansion.

Outside of speculation, there's not much information to go on. Given that this is free DLC, these will likely be small expansions and tweaks to the game, such as fashion and aesthetic choices. These are unlikely to be story expansions or new narrative content.

Cyberpunk 2077 launched at the end of 2020 with a rather troubled release. The title was plagued with issues across all platforms but was more or less unplayable on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Management at developer CD Projekt has admitted that it was to blame for the game's state, with the studio working on sizeable patches to address the myriad of issues the title faces. The second of these rolled out this week.

The Polish games firm is also "reconsidering" what Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer is going to be, in addition to the studio moving to work on multiple triple-A games at the same time.
