Mass Effect anime delayed into December
Mass Effect: Paragon Lost has been delayed. The Funimation and Production I.G. effort was expected to hit DVD and Blu-ray on November 13 but will now release on December 28, according to the anime’s Twitter. No appearance in your non-denominational holiday stocking then. Paragon Lost is a prequel to Mass Effect 3 which conveys the backstory of the shooter RPG’s shuttle-crashing squaddie, James Vega.
Thanks, Joystiq.

30th anniversary Gundam game announced for PS3

Given the choice between an 18-meter-tall, solid steel, mist-emitting statue carved in your image and a PS3 game, which would you rather receive as an anniversary gift? Well, if you’re the Gundam franchise, you’re getting both, which is really the only correct answer when faced with such a question.
Kotaku reports that the PS3 game in question will be titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Record U.C.0081, and that it’ll allow up to eight players to both rock and sock each other with cold, metallic fists via PSN – but probably only after 25 minutes or so of expository dialogue.
The game currently has no release date, but is apparently 60 percent complete. We’re conservatively estimating that it’ll sell roughly a bajillion copies during its first week in Japan.

Capcom announces full length SFIV anime film
1UP is reporting that Capcom has announced plans for a 50-60 minute Street Fighter IV anime film.
From the piece:
A 3-minute trailer for the movie was evidently shown during a presentation at Tokyo Game Show last week, which contained scenes featuring Cammy, Ryu fighting Crimson Viper, and Sakura fighting Chun-Li (both Cammy and Sakura are recently revealed additions to Street Fighter IV). According to Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono, the film’s run-time should total around 50 to 60 minutes.
