As announced by Sony at TGS last September, Vanillaware’s popular Wii action title, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, is being ported over to the PlayStation Vita. Sega is taking no chances with Phatansy Star Online 2. The game will be free-to-play for all Japanese Vita owners from launch. If you don’t fancy spending out on the PC or console versions, a limited handheld outing might do just the trick.

Sony has released a new optional firmware update for PlayStation Vita. Update 1.69 will “improve software stability,” according to Sony’s Eric Lempel. The 97Mb download does little else apart from that and can be termed as minor. The system will be getting support for PSone Classics and YouTube via an update which’ll be released this summer.

Last month Sony had said users would be able to switch out memory cards in order to use multiple accounts on their Vita console. Apparently that’s not the case anymore, because they’re now saying there will be only one account per system, requiring a factory reset to switch. More »
