Champions Online reveals new character type, definitely not a Sith
Bummed that you’re not able to play Star Wars: The Old Republic at launch? Well, Champions Online developer Cryptic Studios has a bit of a treat for you. The company launched a new character archetype (re: class) that bears more than a passing resemblance to a Sith lord.
The character wields what are essentially two red lightsabers, and is clothed in a dark hood and cape. Could it possibly just be a coincidence that this is coming out a day before the official launch of SWTOR? No, not really. Picture after the break. More »

Bioware discusses temptation, and art direction in SWTOR
Bioware associate lead designer Emmanuel Lusinchi, said the developer decided against giving Star Wars: The Old Republic a more realistic look because the firm didn’t think the art style would prove to be fresh a few years out.
