One other tidbit from Sony’s Q&A livestream: US owners who activate their new handheld’s 3G connection will receive a free copy of Super Stardust Delta and the Blast Pack DLC for free. The Vita alunches in the US on February 22, although those who ponied up for the First Edition 3G Bundle can grab theirs on February 15. You can watch a replay of the live chat session here.

Evil Avatar reports Kalypso has released a new Tropico 4 add-on for both PC and Xbox 360. The Quick-Dry Cement pack goes for $4.99 or 400 MS Points, and adds a cement factory building, the constructor character trait, an engineer helmet, a new mission theme, and a handful of new decorations. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception patch 1.04 has been released, and is expected to reach all territories within 24 hours. Naughty Dog advises the patch will prime the game for upcoming DLC, which will be detailed tomorrow. The patch also fixes a bug in co-op adventure mode which made some objectives impossible to complete on higher difficulty settings.

The free-to-play update to Flight Simulator, Microsoft Flight, has been dated for January 29 and will be available directly from its website, Eurogamer reports. The game’s first major piece of DLC will also be available on launch day: the Hawaiian Adventure Pack goes for 1600 MS Points, and includes 20 new missions, more challenges, “hundreds of miles of additional airspace” and one place, the Vans RV-6A. Two additional planes will be made available for purchase as well – the Maule M-7-260C for 1200 MS Points and the P-51 Mustang fighter plane for 640 Points; the latter’s cheaper because it doesn’t include a cockpit view.

A nudge at the end of Final Fantasy XIII-2 has raised hopes for a further sequel, but it’s time to dash them. Minor spoilers ahead.

During the publisher’s quarterly financial report, EA’s Peter Ausnit said new DLC for Battlefield 3 would be detailed at a New York event next week. Battlefield 3 released in October 2011 and is yet to receive any DLC beyond pre-order and special edition content, some of which was later unlocked for all players following a timed exclusive. EA claims the shooter now holds 24% of its genre market.

The extra DLC options for Mass Effect 3 pre-orders continue today with the announcement of Dark Horse’s “Art of the Mass Effect Universe” book. If you pre-order the art collection through Barnes and Noble, you’ll receive download code for character boosters and a Collector Assault Rifle for multiplayer. Here’s the word on the rifle: “The Collector Assault Rifle uses the same principles as a human assault rifle, but its organic components clearly set it apart. Its power source appears to be an internal organ with biotic capacitance; its ammunition resembles pellets of metallic enamel that strip shields off enemies with deadly efficiency.” So, there you have it. Mass Effect 3 is out in March.

Purported early leaks of this week’s Famitsu suggest a treat in store for fans of Final Fantasy XIII and its upcoming sequel.

Dance Central fans will be getting some new content today as Harmonix is rolling out a new pack of Rihanna songs for Dance Central 2. The pack will be available on December 20 (today) for 640 MSP.

What’s My Name, S&M, and Only Girl in the World will join Rude Boy already on Dance Central 2 and will be available individually for 240 MSP each.

These FFXIII-2 DLC plans may not apply to the region you’re living in, but at least you’ll get an idea of where they’re going. First will be the Omega DLC available on December 22. Then, after the new year, Serah and Noel will be getting costumes. Which includes Noel’s Ezio Auditore da Firenze costume previously confirmed. Then in February, Serah will be getting a pink bikini costume. Lightning may also be featured in her Colloseum costume as DLC, thought that’s to be confirmed.
