Reminder: Dead Space, DiRT hit Games on Demand today

Surely you saw the post on this yesterday, but just in case you didn’t or should you need reminded – Dead Space and DiRT hit Microsoft’s Games on Demand service today for Xbox 360.
Granted, you can probably find the games cheaper than the £19.99/$29.99 price tags, but maybe you’re just lazy and don’t wanna drive to the shops, or maybe you are under house arrest with an ankle bracelet that shocks you when you step out the door.
Whatever your situation, both are at your disposal should the need strike you.

Dead Space, DiRT coming to GoD tomorrow
Didn’t buy it last year? Waiting for it this year for some odd reason (you odd fellow)? Good news for you, then.
Dead Space releases on Games on Demand tomorrow, alongside Colin McRae: DiRT: the first one, and not the second.
Both will be available for £19.99 at release.
Thanks, CVG.

Drive boss Raeburn leaves Codies – official statement
Driving dev boss Gavin Raeburn has left Codemasters, the company has confirmed to VG247.
“After successfully rebooting two of Codemasters’ heritage franchises as DiRT and GRID, Executive Producer Gavin Raeburn has moved on to pastures new,” said Gavin Cheshire, VP of Codemasters Development.
“Following the recent success of the award winning DiRT 2, it’s positive for any individual to move when they feel they’re at the top.
“He leaves having built an incredibly talented team that’s led by key players who will drive our racing portfolio forward. He has my best wishes and our thanks for all the successes enjoyed during his time at Codemasters.”
Raeburn’s been with Codemasters forever. He’s credited on 1988′s Pro Skateboard Simulator, and has since charted a career that’s seen him work on Stunt Kids, Psycho Pinball, TOCA 2: Touring Car Challenge, Jarrett and Labonte Stock Car Racing, Pro Race Driver, DiRT and GRID.
There’s no word on where he’s off to. All the best, Gavin, whatever it is.

DiRT 2 video has cars, people, racing, loud music

New DiRT 2 video shows cars speeding around, people walking, fans screaming and cheering, loads of dirt flying about. Generally what you would expect from a racing video.
If Codemasters is wanting to appeal to the “extreme-sports generation”, then video sure looks it.
Watch after the break.
