As discovered by D’Toid, Blizzard has banned a bunch of words revolving around several religions being used in Diablo III. Some of them include Catholic, Atheist and Christian, the latter making it even harder if your first name actually is Christian. The words from religion that are allowed include Buddhism, Protestant and – wait for it – Scientology. Nothing else to add, your honour.

An app, which provides the current status of Diablo III’s servers, has been released for Android through Google Play. Developed by Eluamous, creator of a similar app for World of Warcraft, the free app is ad supported and allows you to check the status of servers in Asia, Europe and the US without bothering to log into your PC or Mac. Blizzard’s announced the US Diablo III servers will go down for a two hour maintenance period from 5am PST (1pm BST) until 7am PST (3pm BST). The downtime follows a return of Error 37 overnight.

French company Absoloo is offering free sex toys to those widowed by the just-released Diablo III. To claim, you need to post a picture of yourself on Absoloo’s Facebook page holding a copy of the game. You’ll then be sent a code with which to “adopt your new friend” from the Absoloo site. It’s not clear if the offer’s applicable outside of France, although we suspect that a sudden international crowd of pissed off, Diablo-burnt, dildo-hungry partners descending for hundreds of free cavity-based staffs of power (+1 vitality) may very well make it so.
