An official Bloodborne card game is in the works

Eric Lang, board and card game designer, has announced that he's working on a Bloodborne card game.

Posting on Twitter earlier today, Lang followed up on the tweet above to confirm that "Bloodborne is indeed licensed. It is a simple but highly deep and interactive card game", from CMONGames. While there won't be any miniatures, there will be other "sweet components."

The Bloodborne card game is apparently based on Chalice dungeon runs and is decribed as, "risk management with a bit of groupthink, inventory management/upgrades and tactical play in an intense 30 minute card game."

Wrapping up the annoucement, Lang finished, "My goal with Bloodborne was to channel the intensity and frustration of the video game into a contest between players. Lots of death."

I never got around to playing the Chalice Dungeons, but if you managed it, would you like to have the experience recreated in a card game? Let us know if this has piqued your interest in the comments below.
