Goichi "Suda51" Suda appeared during today's Switch launch details presentation to confirm Grasshopper Manufacture is working on a new game for Switch.

The new game does not yet have a formal title, but will feature Travis Touchdown, the protagonist from the Wii classics No More Heroes 1 and 2.

Suda recently expressed a desire to make a game like No More heroes for Switch. Guess that wish came true.

Suda commented that the Switch is really easy to develop for, and praised Nintendo for creating a welcoming space for indies. Grasshopper Manufacture stretches the definition of indie a bit, given that publisher GungHo owns it, but Suda may be referring to a certain aesthetic or approach to development rather than the strict business sense.
