Monster Hunter Portable 3rd ships 2 million in Japan

monster hunter

Capcom's announced it's shipped 2 million units of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd following its release in Japan last week.

The publisher said the success of the title's release was down to old and new players, the latter coming to the series thanks to the recent release of Monster Hunter Diary.

The shipping numbers are the highest for the series since it began on PlayStation 2 six years ago.

Capcom also announced the series had sold 15 million units as a whole. Go nuts, Cap massive.
