It seems the collector's edition for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is having nothing but troubles. If earlier reports of stock shortages and orders being cancelled weren't enough, now it seems DLC codes are missing from the PlayStation 4 SKU.

Reports on Reddit and NeoGAF indicate that those who received their collector's editions early, have realised that it doesn't come with the the day one DLC codes or the collector's edition-exclusive DLC.

According to one retailer that contacted Konami, the publisher will be sending these out to retailers who in turn will forward them to customers. The issue reportedly only affects PlayStation 4 copies, but we can't know for sure until Tuesday.

Here's what you would be missing if your package doesn't come with the DLC codes.

Day one:

  • Adam-ska special revolver
  • Silver personal ballistic shield
  • Wetland cardboard box
  • Blue urban fatigues outfit
  • Metal Gear Online XP Boost

Collector's edition:

  • Snake Costume Pack (4 camouflage outfits for Snake)
  • Cardboard Box Pack (3 cardboard boxes)
  • Weapons Pack (4 guns, 4 ballistic shields)
  • Venom Snake Emblem
  • Metal Gear Online items (Metal Gear Rex Helmet, AM MRS-4 Gold, WU S. Pistol Gold)
  • Metal Gear Online XP Boost

The Phantom Pain officially launches September 1.
