Lords of the Fallen "might be infinite", main quest takes 15 hours

Lords of the Fallen aims to offer "infinite" gameplay, and even those who just want to sprint through the main storyline can expect a hefty dose of gameplay.

Speaking to OnlySP, producer Tomasz Gop made a guess at the game's length.

"If we’re talking about strictly walking through the main quest and skipping everything else – what a loss – then something along the lines of 15 hours might give you an idea," he said.

But, he added, the RPG is aimed at "achievers and completionists", with loads of additional content for those who care to explore.

"Technically, with New Game +, exploration, lots of secrets and optional loot, [gameplay length] might be infinite," he said.

Gop was producer of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, so we're keen to see what he's been cooking up. Despite our intense interest we've seen very little of Lords of the Fallen, although a new trailer did come out of gamescom. It's expected on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one in northern autumn.

Thanks, Dark.
