This mod for Bloodborne allows you to take control of enemies by locking onto them. And it's really cool.

A mod in the works for Bloodborne by Lance McDonald allows the player to lock on to enemies in the game, thus gaining control of them.

According to McDonald, it works on any enemy in both the full version of the game, and DLC areas.

Again, the mod is currently in a proof of concept stage, as there's more work needed.

McDonald explained the technical aspects and provided clips of the mod in action on Twitter. You should give him a follow for updates on the Bloodborne mod.

The cool stuff happening here: I am arbitrarily calling a developer debug function on-demand (without debug menu), and passing a dynamically generated "enemy ID pointer" to the function, which is pulled from the current lockon data. This is about 3 days work so far.

You can't travel too far away from where you left the player character or you'll despawn, so it's not like you can just go off and play the whole game this way. Still, fun. pic.twitter.com/R4zeagjtFe
