Is the rogue good in Diablo 4?

Absolutely! The Rogue can dish out astounding damage regardless of whether you play them as a ranged or melee DPS, able to apply elemental effects to enemies while tearing them apart with a variety of powerful core skills.

The Rogue can be a complex class that takes time to wrap your head around. Without keeping an eye on your movement skills you can easily get caught and killed on higher world levels, so it is important to make the most out of the skill points you do have. If you do, you'll find yourself slaying any and all enemies you run into.

Diablo 4 | Rogue specialization

As a Rogue, you get a choice from several specializations which passively alter how you play, albeit in a significant way as far as your damage is concerned. Of the options available, we recommed combo points. With these, you'll be able to build up and use an enhanced version of your barrage skill, which when paired with the poison imbuement is a damn good way of dishing out lots of damage to solo elites of packs of enemies.

Diablo 4 | Legendary Aspects

For this build to excel, you'll want to head out and hunt down the following legendary aspects. You can use them to craft and use legendary gear, that'll provide some incredibly useful bonuses:

  • Aspect of Surpise - When you Evade or Shadow Step, you leave behind a cluster of exploding Stun Grenades that deal physical damage and stun enemies for 2 seconds.
  • Aspect of Unstable Imbuements - When casting an lmbuement Skill you trigger an Imbued explosion around yourself. applying the Imbuement effects and dealing damage of the same type.
  • Blast-Trapper's Aspect - On lucky hit: Dealing direct damage to enemies affected by your Trap Skills has a chance to make them Vulnerable for 3 seconds.
  • Trickster's Aspect - Caltrops also throw a cluster of Stun Grenades that explode, dealing physical damage and stunning enemies.
