Microsoft: More revenue comes from transactions “than the subscription space”
Xbox Live marketing manager for EMEA Robin Burrowes has reiterated that since last January, the service has grown by five million users due in part to the addition of new regions added to the service last fall.

PSA: It’s a free Xbox Live Gold weekend in the US, postponed in the UK
Microsoft is allowing Silver members of Xbox Live to play as Gold members this weekend for free in the US. Unfortunately, the free weekend in the UK has been postponed.
