Sea of Thieves, Hunt: Showdown, and Warhammer: Chaosbane are free to play with Gold

Starting today, you can play three games for free with Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Microsoft is offering three games to play for free this weekend with Gold: Sea of Thieves, Hunt: Showdown, and Warhammer: Chaosbane.

In Hunt: Showdown, you will not only be battling monsters but other players as well in the Louisiana swamps as a bounty hunter. The game was recently updated with a new solo PvE mode called Trials which let you complete challenges and earn new rewards.

Warhammer: Chaosbane finds you battling Chaos hordes in a world dominated by magic and war. Choose between five different character classes, each with unique skillsets and equipment, for fights against over 70 types of monsters and the Chaos gods they are aligned with. Play solo or with up to four of your friends.

Rare's Sea of Thieves is also free to play this weekend, which is also a Gold & Glory weekend offering double gold and reputation until September 21. The in-game Storytelling emote will also be given to Xbox Game Pass members playing during September 17-20, and the Summer of Sea of Thieves event is ongoing until September 30.

Each of the games are also on sale this weekend.

You can pick up the standard edition of Hunt: Showdown $16.00 and the Master Hunter Edition for $40. Warhammer: Chaosbane standard is $14, the Deluxe Edition is $22.75, and the Magnus Edition is $24. The standard edition of Sea of Thieves is 50% off at $20.
