The Last of Us: Remastered sale on the PS Store celebrates Outbreak Day

The Last of Us: Remastered is on sale in both North America and Europe this week.

If the game were a real-world occurrence, this week would mark the second anniversary of Outbreak Day, as the Cordyceps Brain Infection reached critical mass on September 26, 2013.

The Outbreak Day sale kicks off tomorrow, September 23, and runs through October 7. Players can save 40-50% on select content for The Last of Us and The Last of Us Remastered, including a price reduction on Remastered for PS4.

PS Plus members will be able to save even more in some instances.

A new fungal growth dynamic theme is also available for $0.99 for a limited time.

On top of the sale, there is also a Clicker Statue up for pre-order in North America. It was developed by IP Factory/Gaming Heads. It is available in either the gas mask or regular edition. The pre-order page for the statue doesn't seem to be available yet, as of press time.
