Square Enix E3 2019: Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Marvel's Avengers, Outriders - all the news here

Square Enix aired its E3 2019 showcase on Monday, June 10 and if you missed it, we've got you covered.

The Square Enix E3 2019 showcase took place rather late, but it was worth staying up to watch, especially if you're a Final Fantasy fan.

More information was provided for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and the first content drop will arrive on March 3.  Focusing on Midgar, and the first gameplay video showed the fight against the Scorpion Sentinel.

We were given a look at the combat system and how fluid switching between characters and attacks looked.  Square wouldn't provide information on how many installments we’ve getting after episode 1 is released.

Rumors of Final Fantasy 8 Remaster proved true when Square announced it was in development. It’s not a remake, but an HD upgrade.  It’s coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch this year, but a date was not provided.

Marvel's Avengers was given a full reveal at the show. The action-adventure will focus not only on the story, but "continuous single-player and co-operative gameplay" in teams with up to four players. You will be able to customize your heroes, use various super-abilities, and combine your powers with others. But, know going in you won't be able to form a group consisting of nothing but The Hulk. Damn it.

Oninaki, the new action-rpg coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Switch from I Am Setsuna studio Tokyo RPG Factory was shown some love and given an August release date.

People Can Fly's new game Outriders was teased during the showcase after plenty of teasing on Twitter.  A whole lotta teasing going on with it, basically. While not much is known, it was revealed as a shooter where you'll be fighting mutant monsters. It can be played with three other players, with drop-in-drop-out multiplayer.

Our first look at gameplay for Dying Light 2 was shown, along with additional information on Romancing SaGa 3 Remaster. Speaking of the latter, SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is also being translated for western audiences.

There's supposedly a Secret of Mana Collection in the works, and it's possible we'll hear more about Babylon's Fall from Platinum Games revealed at E3 2018.

A new trailer for Dragon Quest Builders 2 was shown ahead of its release later this month, and The Last Remnant Remastered was released for Switch day of the show.

A trailer for the first Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC, ReMind, was shown but a price and date were not provided.
