Scar defeats SonicFox in Mortal Kombat 11 Grand Finals at Combo Breaker 2019
Brad "Scar" Vaughn (Endemic Esports) defeated Dominique "SonicFox" McLean (Echo Fox) in the Mortal Kombat 11 Grand Finals at Combo Breaker this weekend.
You can watch the Grand Finals here:
The pair were neck-to-neck in the final game of the double elimination tournament. Neither competitor deviated from their characters: SonicFox mained Jacqui Briggs while Scar mained Sonya Blade.
Scar won the first match, but Sonic Fox stole the next two points. Scar had a reversal of fortune when he won the fourth match though, and in the sudden death showdown, he defeated SonicFox with a sneaky ranged attack.
Both competitors took to Twitter after the match, with both vowing to continue the grind:
Yea that ComboBreaker win was nice, but no time to let up, rest & then the grind continues.....ggs everyone, and thank u everyone who came up n congratulated me on my win!?
