Pokémon X leaker was visited by Nintendo, game was confiscated - report

Pokémon X was the target of several leaks this week, which apparently attracted the attention of Nintendo. The leaker has since has all of their spoilers pulled and has stated that they were visited by company representative who then confiscated the game.

Kotaku reports that the leaker posted several screens and videos from a legitimate copy of Pokémon X. It was apparently sold to him ahead of the October 12 street date by a friend who happens to work at an unnamed game store.

The leaked assets were being posted on kosthedin's Instagram profile but were then quickly pulled. He then posted an image that simply read, "Got Nintendo'd."

He then posted an update to explain what had happened. It read, "Nintendo flew a representative out this afternoon and went to the local game shop where I picked up X. The Nintendo rep had said heads were rolling at Nintendo because of the leaks. I gave up my copy of the game to try and help keep the local game shop out of trouble and to keep my friend from losing his job."

What do you make of the above?
