Nordic Games to publish Alan Wake PC at retail

Nordic Games has announced this morning it'll publish the PC version of Alan Wake at retail.

A more specific release date is expected "in the next few days."

"We’re very excited that we have the opportunity to bring the PC version of Alan Wake to retail and the fans out there," said Remedy boss Matias Myllyrinne. "Working closely with Nordic Games we can deliver an amazing experience to PC gamers."

Added Nordic Games CEO Lars Wingefors: "We are really looking forward to the PC version of Alan Wake, especially as we are talking about a fantastic PC adaptation thereof, rather than a mere porting of the code. We will talk about this in more detail in the upcoming weeks.”

The PC version will come with 3D and multi-screen support, as well as the inclusion of XBL DLC The Signal and The Writer.

The digital download of the thriller, which launched in May 2010 for Xbox 360, will release on Steam next month via self-publication from Remedy.
