GDC Austin renamed and set for October

Think Services has announced that GDC Austin will from here on out be officially known as GDC Online, since that's the event's main focus - online games.
Still to be held in Austin, the event is scheduled for October 5-8 and will remain focused on online gaming, in addition to MMOs, social gaming, new distribution models and more.
The first GDC event to be held this year will be the annual San Fransisco venture next month.
So far, Sid Meier has been confirmed as a keynote speaker, with Final Fantasy presentations announced as well.
All should be interesting.
