Fortnite dataminers reveal which buildings will get destroyed by the impending volcano eruption
Fortnite's volcano is getting closer to erupting and dataminers have revealed that Tilted Towers and Retail Row are almost certainly going to be destroyed.
After update v8.50 dropped this week, dataminers have been rummaging around and discovered that Fortnite's Tilted Towers and Retail Row are on the chopping block, but the one building that always gets destroyed - No Sweat Insurance - will escape unscathed.
Fortnite News shared images of the soon-to-be-destroyed areas of the map (via Fire Monkey) and while the screenshots don't include lava, they go on to say that "the entirety of Tilted Towers will be covered by lava."
The buildings aren't shown in their usual spots because "that’s what the leaked files provided."

The leak seems to be supported somewhat by a recent hiccup in the game that has seen textures not loading properly in both Retail Row and Tilted Towers across all platforms.
Epic tweeted about the issue earlier today and assured players it was working on a fix.
