Final Fantasy 15: Episode Ardyn gets a release date, prologue trailer

Final Fantasy 15 players have more content to look forward to next month when the villainous storyline for Ardyn is released.

The final DLC focusing on extended storylines in Final Fantasy 15 has a release date.

Episode Ardyn tells the story of Ardyn Izunia, the main villain in Final Fantasy 15. His is a story of "suffering, death, and resurrection," which leads up to the game's main story. You'll learn the reason behind the resentment he's harbored for Lucis over the last 2,000 years, and insight into his clashes with the Astrals.

An animated prologue trailer released by Square Enix should get you up to speed on the fella.

Three other episodes were to be released in 2019 starring Luna, Aranea and an alternate universe plot line starring Noctis. These were cancelled in November 2018.

Final Fantasy 15: Episode Ardyn releases March 26 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
