With new content for Destiny dropping later this year, it's time to take a look at the rumors which came to light earlier this week.

So is Rise of Iron an expansion or just large DLC? Reports state it is the big fall expansion due to it being "larger than the year one" DLC packs.
It is said to contain a brand new raid which Bungie started working on last summer, and while it could be themed around the Fallen, it may center on other races too.
It is suggested that the character in the leaked artwork is Lord Saladin, but as Arekkz points out in the video, Destiny lore mentions Iron Lords and Iron Wolves. Thus the word "iron" in the image.
Arekkz also speculates on the setting depicted in the image, such as the snow, and provides thoughts on where the expansion might take place.
Since neither Activision nor Bungie have commented on the reported leak, we'll just have to be patient until something official is announced. We suspect it will occur during Sony's E3 2016 presentation on June 13.
Other than the big fall expansion, fans Destiny also have something to look forward to in 2017: Destiny 2.
