Cuphead is not just a boss rush anymore

Cuphead, the platformer with classic, 1940's cartoon aesthetics and animation, has gained another component after having spent more time in development. The game was first revealed during Microsoft's E3 2014 conference.

Cuphead made another appearance at last year's E3, too, and that's when the studio started talking about mechanics more. It was then we learned the game will in fact be a series of boss fight - known as boss rush.

Today, thanks to this new gameplay video (via IGN), it looks like more regular levels have been added to it.

Take a look.

Cuphead is due for release sometime this year on PC and Xbox One. We hope to hear more about it at E3 next week.
