Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 hits PC May 8
Modern Warfare 3 will finally arrive on PC next month via the first Content Collection. It includes four multiplayer maps, two Spec Ops missions, and basically all the content which hit Xbox 360 in January and March. The Content collection landed for PS3 players in April and those who play it on PC can expect it to land on May 8. Thanks, Shack.

Judge rules against EA’s request to dismiss Activision claims, suit goes to trial
California Superior Court Judge Elihu Berle has dismissed EA’s request to dispel Activision’s $400-million contract-interference claim that the company underhandedly appropriated Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella while still under contract with the publisher.

Judge rules West and Zampella have enough evidence against Activision to go to trial
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled Tuesday that there was sufficient evidence to support Jason West and Vincent Zampella’s case against Activision, therefore the case will be going to trial.

It looks as though 14-year-old Dublin boy is behind the service alert Microsoft’s put into affect last month when “external intrusion” saw the firm bring Xbox Live offline due to the potential for phishing attempts while playing Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops tops NPD’s 2010 best sellers list
The NPD has released a top ten list of the best selling games of 2010 and amazingly, Call of Duty: Black Ops is royally serene at the very head.
Other notable entries include Black Ops’ precursor, Modern Warfare 2, at eighth place; Red Dead Redemption at fifth; and NBA 2K11 sneaking in at tenth.
