Chart-Track: Black Ops sells 1.4m units day one in UK, 4.2m in North America

Chart-Track's told MCV that Call of Duty: Black Ops sold 1.4 million units in its first day on sale in the UK, making £58 million in revenue.

Yesterday, it was announced that Black Ops sold 5.6 million units in its first day in North America and UK, taking $360 million in revenue.

The UK news ostensibly puts day one NA sales at 4.2 million units.

The Treyarch title has easily become the biggest first day game seller in the UK, and has smashed levels set by last year's Modern Warfare 2.

The Infinity Ward shooter sold 1.23 million units on its first day last year in the UK.
