Thrid Fallout: New Vegas developer diary discusses art direction

Bethesda has released a third developer diary for Fallout: New Vegas, and in it, Obsidian chats about the game's art direction.

In the video posted below, the development teams discusses how it made sure the game still looked like a post-apocalyptic world reminiscent of the 50s, while still bringing in the flash and dash of Vegas as the backdrop.

There is also a discussion about the aesthetics of the landscape, how Vegas reflects the Rat Pack era, and how the houses in the game are stuck in either the Sinatra and Martin era, or an earlier time when miners were seeking their fortune in the desert.
