The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a Switch launch title - watch the awesome new trailer
Nintendo has unveiled a release date for the next Zelda game, Breath of the Wild.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , which will also be releasing for Wii U, is due to release on Switch launch day.
It's been a long wait for the latest Zelda, which was first shown in 2014 and announced for a 2015 release, but it's nearly over now.
Nintendo really drew the anticipation out, leaving The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to the final slot of the day, and building up the hype by cutting to messages from Nintendo of Europe and America, with appearances from Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma, before cutting to the excellent new trailer above.
