Rumour - Apocalypse Now game in development from ex-Pandemic staff

As spotted by superannuation, a new Hollywood studio known as Killspace - built of ex-devs from Saboteur and Mercenaries studio Pandemic - is creating a game based on the Vietnam-era movie Apocalypse Now.

The website domains "ApocalypseNowGame.com" and "WarIsNotAGame.com" were registered by Douglas Markland, who signed for the domains via a Killspace email domain according to a WhoIs registration in Calabasas, California.

According to the talent agency that represents the studio, it's creating games for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and iPhone, with two games in development: one a new IP with a major publisher and the other being an unnamed "licenced IP". This probably applies to the latter.
