Rumor - Alan Wake: Night Springs in development at Remedy

An "extremely trusted" source close to XBLAFans has told the site that a new Alan Wake game, subtitled Night Springs, is in development at Remedy for release on Xbox Live.

The source claims to have seen screens from the as of yet unannounced title, and that's all the information that was handed out.

Night Springs is the name of a paranormal show which plays on TV sets in Alan Wake.

Remedy's head of franchise, Oskari Hakkinen, told Eurogamer earlier last week that a new Alan Wake was to be expected, bu that it would not be a sequel to the original or would any extra DLC be released for it.

Job listings posted by Remedy last year had the firm hiring for a “AAA project" on Xbox 360, with the firm also announcing it was looking for a programmer with Kinect experience for the “next iteration” of the Alan Wake engine.
